Cherry Barb - Group of 6
Cherry Barb is a stunningly beautiful nano fish when in peak condition. They are brightly red-colored, schooling fish that should be kept in groups. Males tend to be more brilliantly colored than females, particularly during their breeding season. All fish have a dark line running along the length of their body.
Cherry Barb Care
Cherry Barbs, Puntius titteya, are found in small streams and rivers in southwestern Sri Lanka. They belong to the Cyprininae family. It is a peaceful and loosely shoaling fish and should be kept in groups.

This nano fish is perfect for smaller and well-planted aquariums. Some open swimming areas should also be provided. It is not a picky eater and should accept most small foods like pellets or flakes. Cherry Barbs are typical egg-scattering and egg-eating fish that will readily spawn under good conditions. In densely planted tanks their eggs will stick to aquatic plants. Hatching takes about one day.
Cherry Barbs can be kept with many other peaceful fishes, including tetras, dwarf cichlids, plecos, guppies, and many other community fish.
