Description

These Artificial Tree Logs are an amazing repllica of some of the more popular trees found in Amazon Rainforest.

They sink on their own and come with a flat bottom, so if needed, you can further secure them to any slate/weighing material by screwing through it or by siliconing it.

Made of special resin, these logs can be easily cut down to size to fit your specific heigth needs.

100% neutral to all environments, these logs are completely safe to use in all aquariums.

    Very Realistic.

I have a 125 gallon tank for two Oscars. I bought six of these logs to go with the 3D background that goes with these, has the integrated tree in the middle to produce a rain forest vibe. This combination is both stunning and also minimalist in my opinion. It's exactly the look I want. They also have a base and weigh enough to freestand. Those are the good things. Here are the bad: They are expensive but they're worth it in my opinion. They are much thicker/more substantial than I anticipated. I bought six but am using four to give my Oscars room to move while still giving me the vibe I want. The shipping time was crazy on these. They showed in stock but took 5-6 weeks to deliver from the date I ordered. And finally the tops of these logs are open, so they can be magnets for debris to collect in them. I haven't had this happen much but I'm sure it will. I'm sure I could rig a screen or cloth over them if it's that much of an issue. Overall the bad things are a bit nitpicky and for the aesthetic they bring, especially with the matching 3D background, I would still do it all again and recommend to anyone. Very realistic look. --Modern Aquarium reply-- Thanks for the review. Our apologies for the delay with your order, we normally have them in stock all the time, but on rare occasion we find ourselves sold out, in which case we must wait to produce more. About the open tops, yes, they are open, but we find that they do not collect much dirt at all. What we recommend is to take a very small drill bit and drill couple of holes on the back side of it in upper sections of it, so whenever you change water the log will always partially drain as well as fill up with new water at end of water change. We are glad you love them and please reach out if you need any further assistance. Thank you
