Rotala Wallichii, sometimes referred to as Whorly Rotala, originates from Southeast Asia.  It exhibits reddish to brown to pink color delicate or needle-like looking leaves.  This plant looks best when planted in groups.  It can be used both as a midground or background plant.  R. Wallichii grows fast but may need regular trimmings to keep it nice and tidy.  The plants need moderate to high lighting and will appreciate regular fertilization.  When kept under good conditions and planted in groups, this plant will provide spectacular and contrasting pinkish/reddish background to your aquarium.

Plant arrived very healthy. Left all the plants we ordered in aquarium for 36 hours before setting them in the aquarium. All the plants looked very healthy and their was no wilting or browning after a week in the aquarium. We love this plant. It is a great addition to our aquarium. It adds such beauty.

I've ordered a few plants in the past that were beautiful, but this one wasn't. I'm hoping it will come out of it.

I was surprised how much I like this plant. It flows in the water so beautifully. Wish I would have purchased one more bunch of these. They arrived EXACTLY like the photo. Everything Healthy. They were dipped and added to my 20 gallon.

The tip of the stems were emergent growth but the aquatic form burst through incredibly quickly! Looks lovely and speaks volumes about the care taken for these plants.
