Cryptocoryne Wendtii Brown | Potted

Cryptocoryne Wendtii Brown originates from Sri Lanka. This undemanding, easy-to-grow plant easily adapts to a wide range of conditions. The leaf color depends on a number of factors, including lighting, and may range from green to brown/red.

Care & Maintenance for Wendtii Brown

Cryptocoryne Wendtii Brown, like most cryptocoryne species, will need time to acclimatize to a new aquarium environment. During this acclimatization process, the plant may lose some of its leaves but it should also start producing new leaves. However, once established and under stable conditions, Cryptocoryne Wendtii is a relatively hardy and easy-to-keep plant.

  • Minimum Lighting Required: Low
  • Temperature Range: 71-86°F
  • Tank Placement: Foreground and Midground

Cryptocoryne Wendtii Brown is great for foreground areas of the aquarium. It looks best when planted in small groups around driftwood or rocks, providing visual interest to the aquascape. Cryptocoryne Wendtii Brown does not require CO2 supplementation, high light, or specialized substrate, but it will grow better if planted in a rich substrate.

Cryptocoryne Wendtii Brown is also available bareroot. We offer other varieties of Cryptocoryne species, including Cryptocoryne Wendtii Red, Cryptocoryne Beckettii, Cryptocoryne Parva, Cryptocoryne Lucens, Cryptocoryne Lutea, and many more.

It's too soon to say if it will survive; however, the shipping and packaging were excellent.
