Vesicularia Dubyana, commonly known as Java Moss, originates from India. It is an adaptable and versatile plant that can be used in various ways in your aquarium. For example, Java Moss can be used as a foreground plant placed among the bases of large stem plants attached to rocks, wood or just left on its own. The plant will attach to any surface and will spread in all directions. It is a hardy plant and regular fertilization will increase its rate of growth. Java Moss is ideal in aquariums housing breeding or small fish or fry.

Java moss
Looks nice. Was hoping to attach to the driftwood I ordered but the post office has decided not to deliver my driftwood for whatever reason. It is healthy looking, some brown pieces but not anything major.

Looks great in the tank
It gives a great look to the tank whether it’s under the java fern, bunching under the driftwood, carpeting the floor or free floating. Great quality, came quickly, love it

Healthy tub of plants
Tub contained three "mats" of moss that were easy to tie on to driftwood and some loose moss that I bundled into another spot. Very happy.

Java Moss
I secured the jave moss to sever rocks and some Malaysian driftwood. It recovered from shipping fairly quickly, within 3 to 5 days almost all of the moss had perked up and showed new growth. Soon to be placed in a planted 40gal turtle aquarium. Only using simple green (safe for shrimp/snails) low tech, and Fluval Aquasky 2.0.
