The plants were very healthy!! There were a couple of dead leaves in the cup but very few. And they were packed in there pretty well so you get plenty in one cup. My shrimp and betta fish like hanging out in the roots.

    Floaters and more

Red root floaters came in good shape and are growing well. However, did get a ramshorn and pond snail in my order but they could have been from the duckweed I ordered from here as well. Also noticed today I got some hydra in my new tank with the floaters being the only thing I’ve introduced. So if you don’t mind those this could product should suffice, if you do then you should look elsewhere.

    Growing nicely

At first I wasn’t impressed. The plants arrived looking a bit dry and yellow. But after a week or two, they are perking up and developing nice thick roots.

    Just like the appear

I bought these along with some other plants. The other plants were in great shape but the red root floaters were all dried up and I assumed they were dead. Called customer service and the asked that I give them a few days to see if they would come back. And boy did they come back. They grow so well I have to thin them out once a week.

    Red Beauties more like it.

These bad boys are some lookers!! I got 8 clumps, a few pretty large, packed In the 4oz cup. Doesn’t sound like much but they are beautiful!! Excellent addition to break up the monotony of a duckweed carpet. No snails I’ve seen so far, good thing to rinse and soak for a few hours. Lots of little broken root hairs. Very few dying leaves. Mostly robust and lush leaves. Bright red roots. Seriously beautiful!! Some of the roots hang down many inches. Super pleased with the purchase!! Can’t wait to see them grow. Added bonus- I found two very small spangles with roots! Put them in as well and fingers crossed they make it. Very excited to watch it grow. Betta seems to love it so far.

I love them they really add color to my tanks. My fish also have been loving them. The only thing was that some of the leaves arrived a little dried out.
