Description
Rotala Vietnam
As its name suggests, Rotala Vietnam originates from Vietnam. Similarily to other Rotala species, this plant's appearance will be impacted by the aquarium conditions. Under good and bright light and with proper fertilization, Rotal Vietnam will produce dark red stems with finer leaves in deep green color.
Care & Maintenance
Rotala Vietnam is tolerant of a wide range of water conditions. CO2 and heavy fertilization are not required. However, if provided with good light and properly fertilized, Rotala Vietnam will grow faster and more compact.
- Minimum Lighting Required: Moderate
- Temperature Range: 72-82°F
- Tank Placement: Background
Rotala Vietnam will provide the biggest visual impact when planted in groups of several stems in the background of the aquarium. Once the plant reaches the top of the aquarium, Rotala should be trimmed to keep it tidy and the cuttings can be replanted. This task is made easier with proper aquascaping tools.

so pretty!!
Posted by lindsay mcconathy on 16 Mar 2020i got SO much more of this plant than i expected to! the stems were very tall and brightly colored. i was able to separate and densely fill the back and one side of my 10 gallon tank with one set of two bunches. i even received one stem with small pink flowers on it! very pretty plant, it works great as a background stem plant in my tank. the red cuts through the other all-green stem plants i have nicely. very pleased with my purchase!
