Change 70%-100% of water every 24 hoours, unless you treat water with ammonia neutralizing product in which case you can extend the treatment to 48 hours and then do the recommended water change. Repeat the treatment for at least 6 days and up to 10 days. It is preferable to mix the powder well with some aquarium water in an external container then distribute it evenly in the aquarium or pour it in a high flow area (eg:pump return). Prior to the treatment, clean the filter and aquarium and maintain the filtration and aeration. We advise to add 1g/L salt along with Bactocide 1 when used during quarantine process for new fish. Do not stop the treatment at the first sign of recovery to avoid re-infection.
