Contortion Val (Vallisneria Asiatica)
Vallisneria Asiatica, also known as corkscrew vallisneria, originates from Japan. It is a very attractive plant with tightly twisted light green leaves that make for an interesting and unique appearance. V. Asiatica looks best and has the most visual impact when planted in close groups of 6-10 bunches — or even more!

Care & Maintenance for Contortion Val
V. Asiatica is a hardy and highly adaptable plant that will grow well in most water conditions. It does not require, but will welcome, high lightning conditions. We suggest planting it in a fine gravel substrate for faster acclimation and plant growth. This plant has strong roots that will hold fast even with bottom-dwelling fish.

Nice Background plant

A dose of thrive fertilizer and we should be back to good. The fish love them and they make the tank look very natural. Highly recommended company.

Posted by Bob on 3 Apr 2022Arrived quickly but the tips of most of the leaves had already started to melt. The roots were very healthy though and as soon as I saw new growth I cut back the old leaves and their growth has taken off.
