Hair Grass (Eleocharis Montevidensis)| Potted
Eleocharis Montevidensis, commonly known as Hair Grass, is found Worldwide. This plant produces thin "hair-like" leaves and forms dense carpeting clumps. The height of the plant will vary depending on the light conditions: brighter or more intense light will produce shorter plants.
Care & Maintenance
Hair Grass is easy to keep but it likes good fertilization and substrate. It should be kept clean of debris for best growth and appearance. Good water flow, housing corydoras catfish, in addition to regular "vacuuming," will help accomplish this task.
- Minimum Lighting Required: Moderate
- Temperature Range: 60°-80°F
- Tank Placement: Foreground, Midground
Well-established and densely grown plants can be separated and replanted which will further encourage new growth. The plant should be planted in groups.
Hair Grass is also available as bare-root plants.

Came healthy. Looks great
Adds depth to an aquarium. Grows well. It took off immediately in my low tech tank. Nice contrast with other plants.
