Bacopa Monnieri, also referred to as Moneywort, Dwarf Bacopa or Baby Tears, originates from West Africa. This is an ideal foreground plant for open areas in the tank where it can be kept short and compact with good lighting. The leaves of this plant are think and oval. Under low lighting conditions, the plant will grow taller and with wider spaces between leaves. Some pruning may be needed to keep the plant compacted and neat. B. Monnieri is adaptable to a wide variety of water conditions, hardness and substrate.
