Maintenance of Mystery Snails for Sale
Our mystery snails may vary in size once they reach maturity. You can expect them to grow to between 1.5” and 2” by the time they are adults. There’s not much you need to do to make them happy. They will thrive in nearly all types of aquariums as long as they have a good source of food such as algae and can scavenge other foods (e.g. algae wafers). Some of the basic care requirements are listed below.
- Diet: Algae Wafers, Fresh Vegetables
- Water temperature: 72-82° F
- Tank Setup: 1+ gallons
Because these snails are so easy to care for, even beginners can enjoy them and should freely add them to their tanks. Our mystery snails for sale do really well in tanks with all sorts of fish, including small or nano fish.

Nice snails but shell chipped/broken
Posted by Kate on 4 Feb 2022These are beautiful snails but they are smaller than I expected. They are about half an inch and I thought that most adults were 1 in to 2 in. Also one of the snails came with a broken shell that I needed to then repair with an egg shell.

Posted by Randy Butz on 25 Jan 2022All of the snails arrived in good shape and began moving around the tank. However in the morning several of them were not moving. I put them in another tank but they did not survive. The fish are fine but there must be some foreign substance in the tank that i deadly to the snails. I am having the water analyzed and doing large water changes. When I straighten out the problem I will probably order more snails. As I am happy with what I purchased.
