Hydrocotyle Leucocephala, or commonly referred to as Brazilian Pennywort, originates from Brazil. This unique plant has unusually shaped leaves that reach 1 to 2 inches in diameter. This plant is easy to keep and adapts very well to most tank conditions, although it certainly likes good lighting. Pennywort should be trimmed regularly if you want it to keep dense and compact appearance. Otherwise, and many aquarists prefer it, the plant will quickly shoot towards the surface of the water where the leaves will spread rapidly. This plant can be planted in the foreground, midground or can be left floating on the surface of the aquarium water providing shading.
by far the best plant purchase yet! Growing already, just days later. No wilting, great roots! simply beautiful.
