Rosette Sword (Parviflorus Tropica)
Echinodorus Parviflorus, also known as Rosette Sword, E. Peruensis or E. Tocantins, originates from South America. This plant grows attractively textured leaves that have distinctive pointed tips.
Care & Maintenance for Rosette Sword
Rosette Sword is a highly adaptable and hardy swordplant. It will do well in most aquariums. While tit has no specialized care requirements, Rosette Sword will do better if planted in nutrient rich substrate and provided with good light. Supplemental iron fertilization will aslo aid in more robust growth.
- Minimum Lighting Required: Moderate
- Temperature Range: 68-82°F
- Tank Placement: Midground - Background
Rosette Sword will grow up to approximately 10 inches and is thus an ideal plant for aquariums of all sizes. In smaller aquariums, it can serve as a focal point plant and be planted in the background areas of the aquarium. In larger setups, it can be positioned in front of large stem plants, hiding their stems and filling the midground spaces in the aquarium. You should trim older leaves if they become covered by algae. Sharp aquascaping scissors make this task easy.

Aquarium plant
Posted by Michael Stratton on 15 Feb 2022I am a newcomer to the art of keeping an aquarium. So, this is my first live plant. This is February and it arrived in the middle of a cold snap. I was quite happy when I opened the package and it was perfectly OK. I followed the instructions for unpacking my plants (I also ordered one other plant with this one) that were on the website and did not find any "hitch hikers". All of the leaves were undamaged. It has been in my small aquarium for about a week and is apparently doing very well. I am very pleased with the plant and the company.

The Rosette swords from Modern Aquarium were a bright green color with no yellowing or decayed leaves. All had strong, ample roots. I will not hesitate to order from these folks again.

Small size Tropica
