Anubias Barteri var. Nana originates from West Africa. It is a dwarf and one of the smallest species of Anubias. For this reason it is an ideal foreground plant. The leaves of A. Barteri var. Nana are strong and exhibit dark green color and will grow to about 3 in. The plant is highly adaptable and is well suited for all kinds of conditions but it is also a slow grower. It can be grown on rocks or wood. This small anubia will produce side shoots but it also can be propagated by dividing its rhizome.
Beautiful, healthy plant. It woudn't stay down so I added a few small lava rocks at the bottom of the basket - that worked.
This is my first time ordering plants from Modern Aquarium and I am very pleased that they arrived healthy and green. The plants were for my turtle tank and he loves them.
Plants came in healthy and lush. It was easy to separate the pot from roots/rhizome. Would recommend.
